背 景 PLSP1 encodes a signal peptidase Plsp1 (plastidic type I signal peptidase 1). It is required for thylakoid development. It functions in the maturation of the 75-kD component of the translocon at the outer envelope membrane of chloroplasts and oxygen evolving complex subunit 33 (OE33) and involved in the maturation of PsbO, plastocyanin and FtsH2/8. |
