BSK2 encodes BR-signaling kinase 2, one of the three homologous BR-signaling kinases (BSK1, AT4G35230; BSK2, AT5G46570; BSK3, AT4G00710). It mediates signal transduction from receptor kinase BRI1 by functioning as the substrate of BRI1.
